I’m 68 years old and the Boxcar Children books are the only books I remember reading as a child. I went to private school and our teachers who were Benedictine nuns, introduced us to these books in first grade as we were learning to read. Then later, after we’d learned to read we were allowed to check them out of the school library. I remember these books as being so exciting and adventurous. I’m going to buy a set for my grandchildren.

The kindle version of this box set was a great find. It is much cheaper than buying all the kindle books individually. If you’re not sure your kids will like it, download the free sample. It is plenty long to get your kids hooked on the story. The publisher did a great job on the kindle formatting. The illustrations are crisp and clear and look great on the kindle screen. I’ve been reading a few chapters each night to my 4-year old before bed. He always wants me to keep reading. I love that there are 12 books to ensure this set will last for a couple months.

Our children love this set. It’s clean and entertaining. Beats the tv and video games any day. These are timeless stories and they always give an explanation of the mystry causes; eliminating the concern of magic and unnatural factors. Suspenseful stories.

Perfect size, my granddaughter loves her.

She is just as beautiful as described. I am starting my second set of American Girl mini dolls. My granddaughter has the first set framed on her wall. We both love them!

These are actually pretty cute dolls. They are much smaller than I expected, however, I really didn’t read before buying because they were on sale and were selling out fast from what I could see. My girls love these, and love that they have an American Girl Doll that will actually fit in their Doll house they have.

They look exactly like the full size American Girl Dolls, and the book is really cute as well. These appear to be well made just as the full size dolls are and I think they would actually make a great "first" American Girl doll, or if you cannot afford the full size, any little girl would still be happy with this. My girls know that we cannot afford to buy American Girl full size dolls except for maybe once a year at Christmas, if that, so I would actually love to be able to find all the mini’s that are counter parts to the full size dolls.

I would recommend this to anyone who has been debating purchIDg this . The clothing is really cute as well and appear to be well made.
